This policy explains what personal data Zeromonad collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only. The products we build for clients, and the products we run ourselves, each have their own privacy policy.
Zeromonad is an IT company building web, mobile, e-commerce and AI products. For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, contact us at hello@zeromonad.com.
What you send us. If you contact us through the form or by email, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address and a description of your project.
Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are generated automatically by the act of visiting any website.
Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Doing so discloses your IP address to Google. If you would rather that did not happen, blocking third-party font loading in your browser prevents it without breaking the site.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to prepare a proposal and carry out the work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and the performance of a contract once there is one.
We use technical data to keep the site available and secure. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website.
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to the working relationship, and then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics. Where a contract exists, records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
Only the service providers we need to operate: our hosting provider and our email provider. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We disclose personal data to anyone else only where the law requires it.
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our using it, and ask for it in a portable format. Write to hello@zeromonad.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
